No, I hate podcasts for the pod part: iPods are populace pacification devices. They're small, fragile, and will be as useless as Furbies in the near future.

I love my ipod as well. and I've put it thru hell and it's never let me down. BESIDES podcasts do not need to be enjoyed on an iPod, you can listen to them any number of ways.

I read the post about your Mom...I am so sorry. I can imagine a fraction of your pain, and I hate that you have to go through this.
